NEO JAPAN 2202 - ORBITAL DEFENSE LINE - MUNGADO

Hey guys, been awhile since I posted any stuffs for Neo Japan, here's one from the graveyard of wip after a little more work. 

"Ever since the destruction of the Moon, many orbital scavengers has been mining moon debris for minerals and selling them on the market, the moon has since been declared an international space relic and no further tampering can be tolerated. While making preparations on building the artificial moon, Japan was tasked with setting up a defense line along the moon perimeters to prevent any further tampering on the moon by any unlicensed party. 

Thus, the Orbital Defense Line program was born, also referred to as "Mungado (Moon guards)" by the public. These specialized space guards are handpicked from the best in Japan, only 15 guards in total, they are equipped with a state of the art Kinetic Rod Cannon, which propels a ultra-dense rod faster three times the speed of sound at its target, the rods will then split and explode after a short delay/penetration. They are permitted to shoot any target on sight if the target is mining/landing/hauling etc the moon debris without a license. They have taken down countless scavenger/pirate ships ever since its service.

However, the Mungado are not just guardians of the old moon, they are also living super weapons, in the year 2192, the Mungado fired three rods precisely into a bunker in Russia, Earth, in an attempt to disrupt the productions of sub-atomic warheads by the local terrorists. Not only did the rods penetrated and destroyed the underground bunkers, it caused a series of earthquakes that shook small villages nearby. This was the only time Mungado was assigned to fire rods onto earth, the public then requested a ban on Mungado shortly afters, to no avail. 

Ever since its services, the Mungado has taken down countless scavenger/pirate ships, probably around 200 ships."
